Calista Grand is one of the largest salons in West Chester. Although the salon is growing, they still consider it to me a mom and pop shop. The salon caters to over 125 bridal parties. The salon also gives scholarship money instead of Christmas bonuses. Calista Grand now boasts its own magazine which can be found in the shop itself. The magazine is full of different tips to keeping yourself healthy & beautiful. When you walk in the salon, it feels like you are walking through an enchanting outside waterfall. From the two-story waterfall to the plants around every corner, Calista Grand is a haven for everyone.

Kat Spence, a stylist at Calista Grand, gives a teenage girl a corrective color. She also gives step-by-step process for how to fix a bad color treatment.

Calista Grand is growing rapidly. The salon itself has become so busy that stylists are booked up to one year in advance. Stylists have now decided to block a three hour period of their time every day. This three hour block will be used to accommodate new clients as well as clients who are in desperate need of their stylist. Once again, Calista Grand has found yet another way to care for their clients needs.

Don the co-owner of Calista Grand, discusses his feelings towards his employees. He feels that your employees should come first and then your clients. He agrees that this may sound odd at first, but in the long run, if your employees are happy, they will treat the clients with better care. Don also believes in continuing education. The salon purrs away 2% of its earnings for the continuing education of its employees.

Calista Grand is growing rapidly and has shown no signs of slowing down. The spa itself is decorated with materials indigenous to the region and is open much later than other spas in the area. Calista Grand also has a special customer service center, which caters to all their client's needs. A Mothers Day make over consists of spa treatments, haircut, color & her make-up done with Calista Grand's own special brand. The mother of four left the salon feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

Calista started in a small shop not big enough to hold their growing business. Luckily, they found a space big enough to hold their salon with extra room for growth, and Calista Grand was born. Much thought went into every detail. From products to blow dryers everything has it's own space. The salon always aims to please the clients as well as the employees. Calista Grand features shampoo chairs with recliners & a special VIP room for clients who need a certain level of privacy. Calista Grand caters to everyone.
