Founded by two of the industry's most accomplished designers, Calista Grand has become one of the area's finest day spas and salons. Owners Donald Moore and Maria McCool have created their dream after a lifetime of hard work and client commitment.

The culmination of years of their planning and investing evolved and in May 1998 Calista Grand opened its doors as the area's first Day Spa and Salon. The staff of over ninety employees is comprised of the best artists for hair, nails and skin. Donald and Maria are committed to their guests and staff, establishing the highest standards for continuing Calista Grand's reputation.

Donald Moore has opened a total of eight salons in the greater West Chester area. He has an ambitious work ethic, striving to always improve his business and exceed expectations of his salon clients.

Maria McCool has won dozens of national and international stylist awards, and is a national educator for major industry manufacturers. Her recognition in the local area has landed her the position as stylist for on-air personalities at the nationally-televised QVC home shopping network. Maria's work is published regularly in trade and consumer magazines.

Their innovative spirit has not only won them many "Best of" publication awards, but has also landed them on shows on TLC, CN8 and MTV.

Maria and Donald invest in all the training they can lavish upon their staff. Keeping their team up-to-date with the best products, techniques and knowledge show their commitment to providing the best for their staff, and in turn, their clients. Both owners are hands-on managers in the day-to-day business of the salon. They take great pride in welcoming you to Calista Grand.
